Children and adults enjoy inflatable rides, great food and carnival games. There are hunts for those 0-3 years old, 4-6 years old, 7-10 years old and 11-12 years old. Hunts take place at distinct times. Proceeds go Smyth County's Relay for Life Teams.

Interpretive tours, field trips and programs showcase the natural wonders of the mountains of Southwest Virginia.
Located at the Konnarock Community Center. Usually held on Mother's Day weekend every year, with a Friday night Dinner and speaker to kick things off. Saturday and Sunday are filled with guided nature walks and activities.

Kids and families learn about wonders found right in the backyard. Hands-on displays promote healthy living and cover ethical and respectful environmentalism and recreation safety topics. There's a carp fishing tournament from 8 a.m. to noon. Pre-register at 7 a.m. on June 6; it's only $2 per person. The event also features the third annual Bike Smyth County. Choose the family ride route or advanced ride route. Both start at 9 a.m., with registration at 8:30 a.m. The fee for the whole family is $15 in advance or $20 on the day of the race.
